Introduction

The National Centre for the Performing Arts has a wide-ranging remit to promote performance, research and education and to preserve and document India’s heritage.

Even the basic cost of running and maintaining five theatres presenting an active programme of year-round events amounts to tens of millions of Rupees per annum.

Without substantial resources from government, the NCPA relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporates to ensure that it can fulfill its mission as South Asia’s leading performing arts centre.

There are many ways of contributing to the work of the NCPA, which is of national importance in India’s cultural development. Contributions on any scale are most welcome.

Major gifts will enable us to make dramatic improvements the services and facilities we provide for our growing public, but even the smallest amount will contribute to our greater purpose of keeping the culture of our communities alive and dynamic and securing the future of creative talent in this country.

The NCPA is a registered charity and donations are exempted by law under Section 80G. The Registration number with the Charity Commissioner’s office is F-1397 (BOM) dated 30-06-1966.

All donations are exempt from income tax as per the current Government of India laws and we will give you the relevant ATG Certificate in view of your donation.
